"MFW Fall 2020: Jil Sander"

The creative duo behind Jil Sander has been searching for years for perfect balance in minimalistic outfits - balance between Yin and Yang, male and female. Simplicity is the final port of refinement indeed, and Jil Sander's autumn winter 2020 collection is exactly the tangible symbol of it. The tireless research for cleanliness and smoothness ends in timeless and apparently effortless clothes. The accurate work that precedes every outfit is not even visible for a moment because garments seem so natural they are part of the models.

Thus, Jil Sander does not follow trends and does not create anything sparkling. It works with neutral tones and allows itself a few splashes of colours. This time they dare with a touch of red and a light floral print. The real richness however lies in fabrics and details. For example the cuts of the skirts and the buttons running along model's collar bones in ivory jacket. Bags and shoes are refined and elegant as well, in colours and shapes.
