Some days ago Katie Holms showed up in New York while she was looking for a cab to go home. The picture they took of her soon went viral, not only because of the outfit she wore but because of the everyday chicness it brings us. We all feel like Katie, enveloped in the everyday life traffic jam while trying to be ourselves despite chores.
The same spirit comes from Khaite's fashion show, the New York based brand that designed Holmes' bra-sweater set in cachemire. Elegant but casual and comfy as well. We get dressed for the pure pleasure of doing it and we want to wear only what makes us feel comfortable. Fashion is not a work we have to fulfill, it is the space of freedom we build up for ourselves.
