After an amazing and creative 18 months, the Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders will be stepping down from his role as chief creative officer at Diane von Furstenberg. , effective immediately, according to Business of Fashion. In mid 2016 he joined Diane as being a part of the creative brains by quickly putting his stamp on the already stylish brand. He brought old heritage to the table, by mixing refreshing fabrications and silhouettes of clothes with an updated twist. However, you can’t take the Diane out of von Furstenberg, so keeping the niche of DVF without changing too much, he mixed his stamp of bold colours and whimsical prints, which gave an updated approach to some of the designers signature pieces. His job role entailed of being responsible for all product categories, as well as store design, Web design, and marketing.
