Urbanism at its finest, city of lights, whatever you call New York it is truly a special state of mind. With sharp tailoring and futuristic elements New York is a stand out among the fashion weeks. Although the urban city is known for its clean cuts and smart tailoring, this season New York surprised us with romantic elements. Eighties and nineties were the major influences of Fall Winter 2018 collections in New York. Pop Art, Studio 54, oversized shoulders and shiny fabrics… Everything that is throwback was used by designers.
Some recurring trends had an upgrade for Fall Winter, like the never disappearing trend of fashion; animal prints had a maximalist upgrade for this season. New York certainly knows how to renew trends so check out the ones that were used the most below…
Animal Print
Leopard prints are always trend probably every season! But for New York Fashion Week it had an upgrade, maxi prints, coloured or neon animal prints… Wild prints went even wilder!
