We used to know Pharrell Williams as rapper and trainer collaborator, but with recent events in the fashion industry, we now know him as fashion designer too. He has created looks for men to imitate thanks to his stand out urban style. You can’t say no when the opportunity arises of collaborating a capsule collection with worldwide known fashion house, Chanel.
It felt like only yesterday when we were teased with the news, with so little idea of what to expect (or how much to save up). However, the collection had its exclusive debut on March 29th, with an exclusive concert by Pharrell that followed the launch in Seoul.
The collection is available at the new Seoul flagship boutique from now, in select boutiques worldwide from April 4th and on Website.
Pharrell is known for adding vibrant colours to his wardrobe, so would it even be a collection of his if the colours weren’t as bold as his style? We have our eyes on the initial printed hoodie, but that is just one of many pieces in the capsule collection. The collection includes T-shirts, bags, headwear and even jewellery to jazz up your outfit. Streetwear has made a stronger impact in fashion recently, with athleisure being a trend that has drenched our wardrobes. So, it was only about time a collaboration with the king of streetwear worked with a luxury label. Chanel would never let us down… And we can’t let ourselves down by not getting our hands on a piece of the capsule. Besides, we couldn’t think of a better person to join the Chanel family.
