Alberta Ferretti launched its Cruise Collection 2020 on Sunday 19th, at the Yacht Club in Montecarlo.
The designer took inspirations from the submarine world and from the rhythmic movement of waves: soft and clean colors, mainly white, beige and blue, together with some stronger notes such as red; leather and suede, dominant material in the Collection, mixed with fluctuant fabrics, macramè and plumage; shapes let the body free to move.
Ferretti’s woman led to a new concept of femininity, dynamic and modern in the contemporary landscape, with a special eye for beauty.
The Collection is entirely eco-sustainable and the attention for the environment is at the very center of Maison’s interests, which is now working to change the supply chain and minimize its environmental impact. The label has been prized with the Ethical and Sustainable Award during the Montecarlo fashion week, whose slogan is, not by chance, Green is the new glam.
