Riccardo Tisci plays and has fun with the new Burberry’s Resort Collection 2020. He takes stylistic features from the past, the beige palette and the monogram, and put all together with rock details, paillettes, black leather and street style’s suggestions. The result is a fresh and joyful collection, highly wearable. It follows the stylistic line the new creative director wants to give the British brand.
Elegant dresses are alternated with shining mini dresses, straight and with fringes. Paillettes also adorn male suits, making them less rigorous, as well as puff-jacket, long and sassy. Animalier appears in different forms, such as classic leopard print, zebra print, baby deer print already presented in the previous collections, and the orange tentacles of octopus.
Sneakers are plain colored and with high platform, cowboy boots are made with different materials and patterns, studded Mary Jane shoes have a punk spirit.
