French brand Celine announced on its Instagram profile the launch of a perfume collection created by their Artistic Director since 2018, Hedi Slimane.
Slimane isn't new to the perfume-making world: indeed, fifteen years ago he created a perfume collection for Maison Dior when he was the head of Dior Homme collections.
The collection, entitled "Celine Haute Parfumerie", comprehends 11 masculine-feminine perfumes for day and night: Parade, Saint-German-des-Prés, Dans Paris, Cologne Française, Bois Dormant, La Peau Nue, Rimbaud, Eau de Californie, Reptile, Black Tie, and Nightclubbing.
The pics released on Celine's Instagram account show the rectangular bottle Hedi Slimane designed inspired by a modernist style. The powdery signature of the collection provides each perfume with an enveloping patina and the French elegance of a couture trail.
Moreover, the collection recaptures Slimane's masculine-feminine stylistic codes: the faceted accords and compositions in the collection deliberately make no distinction between traditional masculine and feminine notes. They harmonize together in a continuous questioning of identities.
The collection will be available from late October exclusively in Celine boutiques; plus, installed at 390 Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, starting late October the first Haute Parfumerie boutique will host all of the Maison's perfume creations.
