Emporio Armani’s show took place in Milan and showed on the runway a light and precious collection. The two minimum denominatore are tailoring on one side - soft, not-structured, extremely comfortable and iconic, the real trademark of Armani label - and sportswear on the other. It’s a balanced mix, on point but not boring, also thanks the colours palette, going from gray to tobacco, in a slightly shiny version due to the ruffled fabric. Materials are very different from each other, but the contrast exalt them.
At the very end of the show, the Italian national team conquered the runway: Giorgio Armani will collaborate again next year to design the apparel for the athletes going to Japan for the 2020 Olympic Games. The label reaffirms itself as the quintessence of Italy in the world.
