For the Cannes amfAR Gala, Italian designer based in Paris Giambattista Valli announced together with Swedish giant H&M the new collaboration for a limited-edition collection.
The clothes designed by Giambattista Valli will be available in selected H&M stores around the
world and on the official website starting from the 25th of May 2019; the complete collection will be
available in every store starting from the 7th of November 2019.
During the evening, the Valli Girls Kendall Jenner, Chiara Ferragni, Bianca Brandolini, Chris Lee,
H.E.R. and Ross Lynch wore the clothes born from this collaboration.
Furthermore, Valli created a suit for men for the first time.
Speaking about the collection, the designer stated: “We called this project ‘Project Love’. The thing
that makes me most happy in life is if I can make someone happy. It’s beautiful if I can do that for a
wider group of Valli girls and Valli boys.” It was very fun to do men’s for the first time. You know,
girls pick up things from men’s wardrobes. The Valli boys get prints, some shapes, some materials,
and some embellishments from girls—they took it from her wardrobe.”
