"Karl for ever: Fendi and Chanel remember Karl Lagerfeld"

Passed away the 19th of February, Karl Lagerfeld will be remembered during the commemoration in his honour at the Grand Palais in Paris the 20th of June. The celebration called “Karl for Ever” has been organized by Fendi, Chanel and the homonymous brand Karl Lagerfeld to celebrate the creative spirit of the designer.

The Grand Palais will open its doors to approximately 2500 guests during the Paris Men Fashion Week. The choice behind the Grand Palais is not casual, indeed it’s there that for almost 13 years the designer organized his runway shows for Chanel, always immersing the public in wonderful atmospheres.

Coordinating this event is theatre and opera director Robert Cansen. The celebration will provide several performances of dancers and actors and the vision of a series of exclusive interviews to famous fashion figures that worked with Lagerfeld throughout his long career.



The events dedicated to the designer don’t end up here: from the 11th to the 14th of June in occasion of Pitti imagine Uomo, Londoner street artist Endless will realized an installation of 9x5 meters portraying Karl Lagerfeld. The portrait will then be printed on 50 limited edition T-shirts that will be exclusively sold during the fair.

The 4th of July Fendi will organize a special runway to honour the most important and significative creations of the designer, who worked for the Italian house for 54 years.
