Marques Almeida's show in London brought on the spotlight many many suggestions for the following season. The collection must be checked on details, in order to find out every possibility it gives us.
The fil rouge for the entire collection is the underground style, with a little bit of punk, London has always been the master of. Make up and hair style on the models just reinforce the idea: black lipstick, extra eyeliner in bright colours, hair falling on the eye with tinged arrogance. The mix is explosive and it's likely to be a strong trend soon.
The collection plays with black and candide white, baby pink and an amazing tone of acid green. Denim total looks, with different wash, also in pink, red and green, are a must have we can't wait to try. There are also some extremely feminine dresses, made of shiny fabrics. Attitude and a lot of style on this runways.
The shoes alternate feathers pumps and combat boots in light colours, together with studded sandals. It seems to play with the female fatale attire, without taking itself too seriously. This collection is fresh air also for the young generation of consumers, who'll enjoy the rebel mood sewn in the garments.
What we like the most is the cocker in large chain: this accessory is going though a come back today, also in its golden version - more refined and precious - while here it winks at the London landscape.
