In occasion of the Salone del Tessile Milano Unica, Loro Piana, one of the most renowned luxury
companies, presented a new fabric obtained from the combination of technological excellence and
natural resources; the Clima System is a special graphene membrane made for the autumn-winter 2020-2021 runway show.
Defined as the largest thermal conductor in the world, graphene is obtained from graphite, a
material of natural origin mixed with the noblest fibers for which Loro Piana is known and
appreciated all over the world, wool and cashmere, creating a breathable and comfortable fabric,
which also possesses the characteristics of Storm System and Rain System, namely breathability,
and wind resistance and waterproofing.
In addition to its technical composition, the climate system is a symbol of avant-garde and
innovation due to its activation from within, exploiting body heat.
Once again the Italian luxury house aims to exceed the limits of textile technology, promoting
research and innovation in the traditional modus operandi and at the same time preserving the
quality and luxury standards that made it recognizable all over the world.
