"MFW Fall 2020: Alberta Ferretti"

Alberta Ferretti's autumn winter 2020 show begins in a rather easily sophisticated way. Daywear in soft gray fabric, combined with white shirts with curled collars alternating with total leather looks.

It is precisely the leather that then begins to insert a note of color: the sugar blue suit is beautiful and shines. The loose boots were super.

But the real twist is the first long dress in curled purple fabric. Which in itself is a scenographic dress, but which stands out even more thanks to the contrast with the black and gray looks that preceded it. Thus, the show takes on a decidedly different tone from expected. The colours are incredible and all between red and pink. Both on leather and suede have a juicy and full texture. Even gray, however, which made a big comeback on the catwalks this February, is very interesting and not at all boring, especially when it comes to glitter fabric and silk mohair. A smart collection, feminine but not as we would have expected from Ferretti. Modern instead, and clean.
