"MFW: Marco De Vincenzo SS/20"

This year Marco de Vincenzo has brought 47 different colors on the catwalk: the one for Spring Summer 2020 is, in fact, first monochrome collection of the designer, who has transformed his show into a rainbow of colors. «It is my first collection in which I use only one color for each of the 47 dresses that I have paraded. A big challenge for me, since I've always mixed colors. It was challenging, but it allowed me to discover other opportunities and other directions, too».


Black opened the show with a top and a longuette skirt with a front slit. Afterward, various looks in

different shades of gray and blue, crossing through the entire spectrum of colors, also passing through white, gold, yellow, pink, orange and red.


De Vincenzo, therefore, had to concentrate on the texture of the fabrics to give dynamism to the clothes that, being mono-color, could not rely on the use of prints or other expedients. To transform the materials, therefore, to obtain a new and innovative effect.

Lastly, the designer launched a message of inclusivity, stating that his clothes are for everyone since he believes that fashion is for everyone.
