"NYFW: Marc Jacobs SS20"

The New York Fashion Week was very close to convince us that intellectual and casual minimalism is the real soul of future fashion. Then Marc Jacobs showed up and change our mind completely, taking us back to the true concept of Fashion. The colourful, exaggerated and precious one. And scenographic as well, in outfits first of all, and in the set itself too. Models came out from the back of the stage and literally "invaded" the public. Fashion is Us, it is moving and dancing between us, it bright up for our eyes only. Thank you Marc!

Garments showed on the runway are simply amazing. They belong to a fantastic world we all have in our mind, that Marc pointed out to let us see it for the first time clearly. It is the visual archive in our brain, where we jealousy keep together memories of clothes, shows and outfit that stroke us during the years. The collection is a tribute to all of them, to the great Master of Fashion, Karl Lagerfeld, Doris Day, Lee Radzwill and Anita Pallenberg.Marc Jacobs mentioned them all in the show's notes and the clothes are actually inspired to their work.

The vastness of fabric used, of past and future influences taken, of colours and tastes coming from this show is too much to be summarized. The happiness of the models was something truly amazing.

Marc Jacobs wish us all a bright future with this SS2020 collection, hoping that Fashion would go back to its original task of express joy, passion and a lot of hope.
