Proenza Schouler's collection is the final port of years of experimentation and implementation between high sartorially and sportswear comfort. Garments are perfectly wearable and they are meant to be for the women of tomorrow, to support them in their everyday busy schedule, where carrier has a fundamental place as never before.

It's not by chance that the inspiration comes from the female co-workers of the designers duo, Jack McCollough e Lazaro Hernandez, who looked at their ability to balance work and private life (a very female skill indeed). Suits, dresses and trench are all about an urban chic appeal. Details are very important too: maxi golden earrings, opaque thighs and futuristic sunglasses.

Garments' shapes have some 80s taste, which has been a huge trend lately: in this case it also pay homage to McCollough and Hernandez's mothers, whose influence is very important in the designers' job.

Some models from the collaboration between Proenza Schouler and Birkenstock were shown on the runway as well. Models carry them in hand - as if they just left the office and switched into more comfortable trainers to face the city outside. We really appreciate the contrast between black or white thighs and sneakers: a very fashionable detail from the street.
