Tory Burch's show is a fresh wave of style and elegance coming straight from the 80s. The figure that inspired her is Lady D, the People's Princess. Glamour, charm, love for fashion and a big heart, that made her involved into humanitarian and social issues of her time and turn her in the (not only style) icon she is.
Maxi dress and prints, make up and hairstyle, they all put together a revival of Lady Diana's time. Just like her models walked the stage with nonchalance and appeal, royal highness of today, wearing impeccable gowns with flat sneakers to walk down the streets.
Maxi dress made is - shy - come back this year in New York and we're curious to see what's coming next. We saw also some special cocktail dress with naked shoulders, loose silk shirts and white dresses made of embroidered handkerchief - the same our grandma has in the closet. The first one for instance, wore by the super model Natalia Vodianova: Tory Burch choose her because of her commitment with the Naked Heart Foundation, that builds up playground for children in Russia.
