Describing the source of inspiration for the Spring 2020 collection Nicky Zimmermann turned to childhood memories in Sidney’s suburbs, those of when just before the start of summer holidays she and her school friends had enough of homework and studying, a kind of emotion that we all experienced more than once in our lives. This year’s collection describes just this feeling, the one where we are on the verge between books and holidays right before exhaling a sigh of liberation when finally, we can switch everything off.

A vibe that seems to resonate from every piece sewn together, starting with retro prints depicting surfboards and beaches, colorful mini-dresses and maxi skirts, t-shirts and white dresses with embroidery and fringes, rounded sleeves and structured ruffles, evoking the dreamy atmospheres of long-gone beach days.
