"PFW: Celine SS20"

It's hard to say which is the most beautiful aspect of fashion, because on one hand we always want to be fascinated and bewildered by new and unexpected collections, but on the other hand nothing is better than seeing a designer at work and instinctively recognizing his touch. A kind of safe haven, where nothing takes us by surprise but we are always captivated by the extraordinary ability to remain fresh and new, while remaining faithful to our own aesthetic.

This is of course the case of Hedi Slimane who, wherever he goes, carries himself, without discounts. Celine's Spring Summer 20 has its roots in the 60s and 70s, elevated and embellished by the designer's sartorial ability, which builds the perfect wardrobe for each of us. The garments are versatile, everyday, simple in substance, but they have a spirit that is difficult to explain. It can only be perceived.

At the same time there are also super modern garments, which take inspiration from streetwear. To sum up, the Celine show is the perfect compendium for the modern Parisian girl, who combines the timeless nonchalance, the rebellious spirit and perfect aesthetics (because never exaggerated) and confirms once again that Slimane knows exactly what to do with his work.
