An enchanted garden. These are the words that could perfectly describe the Spring Summer 2020 collection that Giambattista Valli presented at this year's Paris Fashion Week.

The designer said that, for this collection, his inspiration was "eccentric or extraordinary women and their relationship with their garden": floral prints, then, but not only that. Moreover, to be accurate, the designer turned to people like Peggy Guggenheim and the artist Louise Nevelson, as well as to his modern-day socialite friends: Sabine Getty, Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert, and Eugenie Niarchos.

Moreover, even though it is a ready-to-wear collection, in the creations of Giambattista Valli there are always touches of couture: for example, the inserts of bows and lace. And, of course, there also were evening look proposals, which were mainly by black but not solely: in fact, there are several proposals for long dresses in light colors, which certainly evoked the serenity and freshness of spring season.

Closing the show was the model Sculy Mejia, wearing a very romantic long dress with an off the shoulder neckline, decorated with ruffles on the bust and sleeves.
