Saint Laurent always has a certain tom-boy taste in its collections, and we find it intact and not worn out even in this Spring Summer 2020.
Very low waist shorts, masculine-cut shirts and structured blazers are combined with vertiginous heels and are the basic uniform of the Saint Laurent woman. A bold femininity, which is not afraid to dare and to wear masculine clothes, slightly rigid and angular, which however give a lot of grit.
Then, from mid, the bohemian aesthetic makes its appearance, made of long dresses, floral patterns and precious fabrics, such as velvet and transparencies. Cowboy leather boots combine to create this effect, along with embroidered turbans. Almost a gypsy spirit, not unusual for Saint Laurent.
In the last part of the show we return to the modern and festive level to which the brand usually addresses: black sequins, sheath dresses and tactical cut outs, for a party look that leaves people surprised.
Trend to keep an eye on: baggy pants tucked into high soft leather boots.
