See by Chloé's Pre Fall 2020 collection is a patchwork of different styles and influences. The brand tried to distance itself from its usual naive and very feminine style, dominated by impalpable fabrics and light prints. Of course, some traditional elements of See by are still there and springing up here and there, on clothes and accessories, recalling the 70s. This is the case with knee-high leather boots, and with burgundy platform ones, but also with some cotton blouses with embroidery on the collar and an oversized sheepskin vest.
The rest comes directly from the 1990s and draws urban and rebellious, in some sense, genderless and modern outfits. The fabrics alternate, the colours are full and basic, the denim is strong and medium wash. However, there is a strong masculine note that, together with sportswear, redefines the classic codes of the brand.
