Taylor Swift collaborated with British designer Stella McCartney for the creation of a capsule
collection inspired by her seventh album, Lover, which came out on August 23 rd .
The singer had already announced the news last June in a video she published on Instagram, shortly after confirming the title of her new album. Plus, Taylor Swift and Stella McCartney are reportedly friends.
The new collection comprehends t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and bags. All the pieces are very colorful and made of organic and sustainable cotton. A water bottle is also part of the collection, representing the designer’s sensibility for the environment.
You can buy the merch at Taylor Swift’s official store at the link, the prices go from $35 for the water bottle to $95 for the hoodies, but there are new select products available for 24 hours. In Stella McCartney stores you can find two limited edition pieces: a bomber ($1995) and a bag ($795), and of course both are made sustainably.
The brand Stella McCartney, being a part of luxury group LVMH, is the third brand of the group to collaborate with a celebrity: indeed, the group also owns Givenchy, which recently worked with Ariana Grande and Fenty, Rihanna’s fashion brand.
On the other hand, lately Taylor Swift seems to have a remarkable presence in media: other than the release of Lover, in fact, this year she is on the cover of Vogue’s September issue.
