Starting from July 20, the new capsule collection born from the collaboration of Roman
fashion house Fendi with famous rapper and pop singer of Hong Kong Jackson Wang
will be diffused in 33 selected boutiques and in the Fendi’s official online store.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, the singer gave a concert on July 21 at the
Chengdu Play House Club.
The collection consists of a ready-to-wear line of velvet and chenille where the dominant
color is black, on which has been applied the iconic logo of the brand all over printed or in
the form of a strip also on the accessories and on the iconic Baguette bag, which has also
debuted for the men’s fashion.
To celebrate the launch of the collection a panda named FENDIDI was placed at the
entrance of the IFS mall in Chengdu. The installation created by artist Oscar Wang is about
3.3 meters high and 2 meters wide, is entirely decorated with the Fendi logo and enclosed
in a glass cube decorated by the inscription “F is for…”, a tribute to the Palazzo della
Civiltà, the Maison’s headquarters.
