2018 Super Weddings

2018 was a big year for marriage lovers.

With a cascade of supermodels, singers and actors getting married (in addition to the two major Royal weddings), the wedding industry has taken its rightful throne alongside the world of haute couture.

We collected some of the most stylish and buzz-worthy weddings of the year that made us hoping for more “I do’s” in 2019. Who’s next to walk down the central aisle?

After six years together, Karlie & Joshua finally tied the

knot in October. It was a small surprise wedding in upstate

New York where the model-turned-computer-coder

married her partner. Very thrilled about the whole affair

was Ivanka Trump, her new sister-in-law. However,

the couple has yet to respond to her adorations as opposing

political views seem to distance the two new ‘sisters’.

Game of Thrones actors Kit and Rose weren’t shy in inviting the cast to

their special day. Amongst the guests were Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams,

Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage. They gathered in Aberdeen, Scotland were

the scenic views were perfectly matched by Rose Leslie’s long-sleeve lace

dress covered nature-inspired details.

Hands down, this was the wedding of the year.

Marrying at Windsor Castle, the American actress and British Prince

became Duke and Duchess of Sussex in May. Meghan’s much

long-awaited Givenchy ceremony dress and the Stella McCartney

reception dress will surely influencing wedding trends for years to come.
